Chicago: a shining jewel among America's cities, long capturing our imaginations with its towering high-rises, intense politics, and cherished sports empires.

Yet Chicago has an underbelly that holds an even stronger position in its mythos. From Al Capone to Rod Blagojevich, the city's history is inseparable from organized crime and corrupt politicians.  

Few entities are able to straddle both versions of Chicago, the Windy City where dreams come true and Chi Town, where bodies sink to the bottom of Lake Michigan.  Those that do must have strength of the city herself if they hope to not only survive but 'thrive' in such a cutthroat environment.
